Recycle your way to a United Way donation

United Way of the Greater Dayton area has partnered with Rumpke Recycling to make donating as easy as recycling your cans and bottles. Bring your recyclable materials to Rumpke's Buyback Center, located at 1300 East Monument Avenue and you can donate the cash from your recyclables to United Way of the Greater Dayton area.

Here's how it works:

     1.  Collect your recyclables at home and keep them separated.

    2. Rumpke pays cash for the following recyclable materials:

• Newspaper
• Cardboard
• Copper
• Aluminum Scrap
• Iron
• Aluminum Cans
• Radiators
• Stainless Steel

    3.  Tell Rumpke Recycling that you would like to donate your cash to United Way of the Greater Dayton area.

Rumpke's Buyback Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Call 461-0004 for more information.
