As part of their United Way
campaign, more than 20 volunteers made 250 peanut butter sandwiches
for The Other Place, a daytime shelter for the homeless and a United
Way Partner Agency. Employees also donated individual bags of
chips, fruit cups and juice boxes, and the group assembled sack
lunches for the shelter.

Way staff members spent a Saturday morning at the 11th Annual USAF
Marathon. They promoted United Way to thousands of attendees
and handed out pocket-sized radios as a thank you to the many athletes
who participated in the event. |

Recovery Room nurses and staff from Miami Valley Hospital collected
school supplies for Meadowdale Elementary School.
Campaign Manager Susy Himelhoch joined these caring volunteers as they
delivered notebooks, bookbags, construction paper and more for the
students, teachers and staff. |
